Willy Jack Brainer is an Indica cross that is only 20% Sativa. It took over 15 years of selective breeding to create this strain by crossing female pollen from Brain Stain to another cross between Jack Herer (1995 Cannabis Cup Winner) and Williams Wonder. The Jack Herer and Williams Wonder hybrid is also known as Brain Child, it was then backcrossed to Brain Strain, which is the foundation upon which the Shadow Seed company was built upon. The name of this strain, as you can probably tell, borrowed parts from each strain that it was bred with to create this unique hybrid.
It has favorable growth characteristics that make it easy to trim and manicure and is also covered with thousands of resin crystals. Willy Jack Brainer has a fruity taste scent and taste, which is quite uncommon for a mostly Indica strain. It has a taste that reminds you of melons and almost overwhelms your taste buds. Its odor is strong and pungent which will make you think twice about hiding the smell and carrying it in the car. When smoked it reminds you of premium engine oil. Willy Jack Brainer is a great candidate for making hash and hash oil due to the density of the crystals and resin.
Willy Jack Brainer grows better in an indoor environment and performs equally good in hydroponics or soil growing mediums. It usually reaches about 6 feet tall when let to grow to its full potential. It’s easy to manicure and trim due to its almost perfect flower-to-leaf ratio. The branches on Willy Jack Brainer are strong enough to support the dense buds and the high resin content in the yield. The buzz is kick ass, just like you’d expect from any Indica that will lock you to the couch and most likely have you napping after an hour or two.
