White Russian is a combination of AK-47 and White Widow that makes a white, snowy plant that has a very sweet aroma, and a strong, clear and alert high. Serious Seeds found out much later that this plant was a keeper and became a staple in their seed stock.
White Russian is very easy to grow and does well in either soil or a hydro growing situation. It has an intermediate size, few leaves that give it a wide open canopy making it perfect for growing indoors. White Russian is good for the sea of green gardening method producing an excellent yield of 350 to 450 grams per square meter.
The spotted green colas are very similar to its Indica heritage in size and density, and are usually covered with light brown crystals. When the plant matures its hairs turn to an auburn orange color. The buds of White Russian are sweet smelling and very green with a light undertone of Skunk. The flavor of the buds are also very sweet, but seems a bit stronger like hash oil rather than flowers.
White Russian produces alot of smoke when being toked, and has a very alert, clear high that is pretty long. The high can be complex but is much more likely to keep you awake with trippy or spacey dimensions rather than put you to sleep. This is a good strain for just relaxing in the afternoon or going out to bond with friends as well as great for watching movies.
White Russian was the overall winner of the High Times Cannabis Cup in 1997 and also won the Organic Pot category of the High Time Cannabis Cup in 1996
