Ultra Skunk is a cross between a male Big Bud plant and a female Skunk plant. This is one of the classic hybrids that have existed around since the 1980s. Even though thousands of different hybrids have been developed since its creation, Ultra Skunk still remains one of the most dynamic and coveted plants for indoor and outdoor growers alike. Ultra Skunk is very strong, vigorous and will produce large yields even under less-than-optimal growing conditions. With the high potency found in Ultra Skunk the high will give you a creative, almost psychedelic buzz that will open your mind. Many smokers of this strain will find its hard to concentrate with such a cerebral high and will also find themselves getting distracted way too easily for doing any kind of work other than thinking. Ultra Skunk’s seeds are f2 generation Skunk x Big Bud, but are the first feminized generation of seeds. They have many characteristics ranging from the Mexican and Thai parents of the stabilized Skunk strain to the Afghani Indica parents of Big Bud. This plant will mature in about 9 to 10 weeks indoors and around mid-October outdoors in a moderate climate. In the south, Ultra Skunk will resist flowering for awhile, but you will be rewarded with the resin glands growing and swelling up til the very of the growing cycle.

Ultra Skunk is kind of difficult to clone, but once the clones have taken to the soil it is a very quick and robust grower. Ultra Skunk plants have wide branching and can grow to be very tall. To use Ultra Skunk in a sea of green make sure you prune it to a single stem and keep at it every two weeks. Ultra Skunk does great in large containers as well. Outdoor growers can expect a big bushy plant when it is planted early and it still does well even if you plant it late in the season. Ultra Skunk is very popular amongst medical users since the high is so invigorating and thought-provoking.
