Titan’s Haze was named after the titan in Greek mythology. Their powerful being that ruled during the Golden Age and were second only to the Gods. Each titan represented a primal element like the ocean, earth, sun and moon. Titan’s Haze is a strain that has titanic qualities from marijuana’s Golden Age.
To create Titan’s Haze, Flying Dutchmen Seeds crossed the Original Haze and Skunk #1. The Original Haze genetics they used came from a descendant of the first Haze strain in the 1980s. The Skunk #1 strain they used also came from an unchanged bloodline of the 1970s California Skunk #1. Titan’s Haze has a sister plant known as Fuma con Diablos, which is a reverse cross using a Skunk #1 mother and an Original Haze father.
Titan’s Haze was first started in green house and does best in soil. She can be grown indoors or outdoors, but does good outdoors in long-season climates closer to the equator. Titan’s Haze is a tough strain so she is good for novice growers looking for a great Haze to enjoy. You can grow her in small personal gardens or in sea of green gardens with hardly any experience. Flying Dutchman Seeds prefers to grow this strain in a sea of green with 20 plants per square meter and very little vegetation time. Titan’s Haze is a slender plant that has wide evenly distributed nodes on moderate branches. She turns golden towards harvest time and will form large tear-drop shaped colas and you can expect over a kilo per plant in the correct climate. Titan’s Haze also does well in highly humid climates and dry climates, she has great pest and mold resistance.
Titan’s Haze has a strong smell that reminds one of slightly acid grass, and is very similar to other hazes. The taste isn’t as sweet though, but reminds you of a high quality old-school Haze strain. Due to her Sativa nature, the high is very cerebral and will have you soaring above the heavens like Titans. It is good for artists and musicians, and will provide you with plenty of energy after smoking. Be careful when mixing with alcohol, because it may become too strong and cause unpleasant feelings. Other than that this a great Haze strain that any Sativa would greatly enjoy.
