Thai-Tanic is a creation of Flying Dutchmen Seeds. She is a cross between a Thai mother plant and Original Skunk #1. Skunk #1 originally came over to California from Holland around the 1970s and is believed to be the first stabilized marijuana hybrid in the Netherlands.
Thai-Tanic was first bed by Cultivator’s Choice in 80s. Over the years, this hybrid has become a well-known and stable strain that is enjoyed by many. The Skunk #1 influence creates a shorter growing cycle while increasing yield and resilience. The Thai mother adds a trippyness to the high and enhances the flavor of this hybrid.
Thai-Tanic forms medium-sized buds that are coated with resin and are similar to foxtails. When drying the buds, they seem to retain their weight and structure. This strain builds side branches, but they don’t seem to stretch out as far as other mostly Sativa strains. She is a balanced plant that can reach 3 feet tall indoors with a 12 hours on and 12 hours off light cycle. Outdoors she can reach up to 9 feet tall as long as she is planted in May. Thai-Tanic does best indoors when put in a sea of green with 9 plants per square meter. Prune them twice before flowering for the best yields.
Thai-Tanic has a unique citrus and chocolate taste that connoisseurs will die for. This marijuana strain reminds people of Thai Stick with a quick oncoming buzz that will trip you out. It is a very euphoric and crazy mental high that will mellow out into a day dreaming state. Thai-Tanic does well to increase appetite as well as relieve menstrual cramps, and nausea.
