African Seeds’ latest strain comes deep down from the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. It is a pure 100% Sativa strain that is native to these regions where tea is grown for the Indian Ocean tea industry.
Tanzanian Magic flowers much faster than other Sativas due to its unique fixed auto flowering period. After a set amount of time, Tanzanian Magic will flower on its own whether you change the light schedule or not. After 6 to 8 weeks of vegetative growth it will start flowering. Typical African Sativa strains that don’t autoflower can take up to 20 weeks before entering the flowering strain.
Tanzanian Magic has thin leaflet and is actually a short and bushy plant. The buds are compact and dense. By flowering time, you can expect your plants to be about only 3 feet tall and do not really grow much taller. Outdoors, flowering lasts about 6 to 8 more weeks so it can take about 12 to 16 weeks for this strain to finish from seed. Tanzanian Magic is also a better performer in cooler environments than other African Sativas. Growers can expect about 3 ounces to 1 pound per plant outdoors.
Tanzanian Magic also does well indoors with the proper lighting conditions. She typically does best in an ebb-and-flow hydroponics system and will have a fast cycle. After 6 weeks, she will enter flowering and will finish in about a month to 6 weeks long. The finished buds are also much more compact than the typical Sativa strains.
Tanzanian Magic is an energetic weed that will give you bursts of energy after the fast onset. It is a strong Sativa high that doesn’t have too long of a duration so this weed is perfect if you have other things to tend to during the day and are on time restraints. In Tanzania, this strain has medicinal and religious uses. Tanzanian Magic tastes and smells like ceremonial incense combined with an acrid hashy and medicinal taste.
