Sour Cream is a cross of two strong and famous North American marijuana lineages. New England’s diesel weeds are known for their fuel-like taste and sedative stone. Sour Diesel is an almost pure Sativa that is a clone-only strain created from a cross between Chem and Mass Sujper Skunk. She has a very kushy smell and a sour candy taste. G-13 Haze, Sour Cream’s father, is a male that was picked from the best of the best and was specifically chosen for improved yield. Sour Cream combines these two great strains into one with a weird calming stone and sturdy plant.
Sour Cream leans towards the Sativa side of the marijuana family and is best grown indoors. It also does well enough in a greenhouse setting or even outside. DNA Genetics typically grows Sour Cream in soil with organic fertilizer to boost the quality and yield of this strain. They will have their plants vegetate for about 3 to 4 weeks and grow fewer plants to larger sizes. Sour Cream doesn’t handle alot of fertilizer well and is a rather cool temperature growing plant. If you keep your feedings small and consistent with a cooler temperature range, you will get primo buds.
While vegetating your Sour Cream crop she will look more like an Indica with the fat fan leaves, but she will shoot straight up when flowering starts. Around the 5th week of flowering, the leaves start growing out thin and long. When harvesting, growers can expect slightly fluffy buds, but not too airy like most Sativa strains. Sour Cream produces 400 to 600 of great bud per square meter.
When cured and dried, Sour Cream’s buds look remarkable like haze, but has the sour candy taste of the Sour Diesel mother.
