Somini is a small-statured plant that only reaches 4 feet tall at harvest time. The G-13 Haze father of Somini does lengthen the flowering time to around 10 weeks, which is still short time compared to other haze strains. Somini is a tough strain that can handle changes in the growing environment, which includes but is not limited to cold or hot conditions. She will recover quickly. Since most Haze strains tend to be a little more temperamental, this can be a plus for newer growers.
Somini grows best in subtropical climates when grown outdoors and will finish around late October. Soma Seeds prefers to grow Somini indoors with high quality organic fertilizers like guano. Somini is a heavy feeder plant that will take just about as much fertilizer you give them. With a high quality fertilizer and soil, growers can expect yields of about 1 to 2 ounces per plant.
Somini is a short and dark green marijuana plant that will change to beautiful hues of purple in cooler temperatures. She has compact popcorn cluster buds that cover with resin as flowering takes place. Somini tastes and smells like a spicy Afghani hash that will expose your growing space if the proper measures aren’t taken. Somini’s high is quite strong and will get you sleepy fast.
