Mantras are special words, phrases, sounds or syllables that are chanted to manifest ultimate reality in Easteran spiritual traditions. Somantra is a marijuana strain that will give you a heightened sense of awareness along with internal transformation that will you connect your body and mind to the world around you.
Somantra was created from a mother Sogouda strain and a Kushadelix father. Sogouda is mainly an Indica cross between Blueberry, G-13 Haze and Cheese. It smelled like flowers mixed with some sweet and smooth fruit. The father is a Sativa phenotype of a Kushadelic strain which is a cross between OG Kush and G-13 Haze. This strain tastes a bit darker and earthier with a bit of Haze throw into the mix. Somantra is Soma’s Sacred Seeds largest plant in the marijuana library. It is a great plant that has a spicy mango flavor along with a euphoric high.
Somantra is typically recommended to be grown indoors unless you live in the tropics. When grown outdoors in the equator, you can expect a small tree at harvest time. Even when growing Somantra indoors, you will need alot of space for this tall plant. Let this strain form multiple branches for theb est yield. Somantra does take quite awhile to grow, so be prepared to have the space for up to 3 months or more.
Somantra has hard buds that are covered with THC crystals by the time they’re ready for harvest. The hairs stay white until harvest time when they turn into a firey red signifying the buds are ready to be plucked. Somantra has a cheesy mango flavor that is hard to describe. Somantra not only has a great taste, but a great euphoric high that will send you into the cosmos. It will get you to contemplate life’s origins, love the History and Discovery channel, and not get anything done. Somantra won first place in the Hashish category at the 2010 Breeders Cup in Amsterdam.
