Almost everyone knows how to smoke marijuana, but what do you when you’ve got some high quality expensive hashish to smoke? Smoking hash is a bit more difficult than smoking weed, but once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s easy and there’s several ways to smoke hashish.
- You can smoke your hash in a joint. Simply crumble up some hash and mix it in a joint with some bud or some tobacco. Smoke it like a regular joint, this method is inefficient but is a quick way to enjoy your hash with other people.
- An efficient way to smoke your hash is by using hot knives. Get two knives and either put them on the element of an electric stove or use your lighter to heat them up. Once your knives are hot place a piece of hash in between the two knives (it’s good to let the person holding the knives use oven mitts or something to keep them from getting burned), the rest of the people not holding the knives use straws or pen tubes to suck up all the vapor/smoke.
- You can also use a regular pipe or bong, but like a joint, it’s not very efficient to smoke it and lots of the hash is wasted.
- My favorite way to smoke hash is to use an aluminum foil bowl. First get some aluminum foil and make a small bowl out of it. Use the edge of a book or some equally reliable device to hold the aluminum foil bowl so that way you can use your lighter underneath it. Get a straw or a pen tube, and place some hash in your aluminum foil bowl. Use your lighter to heat up your bowl and your hash, at the same time use your straw to suck up the vapors as it is being vaporized. This is a fairly easy way to smoke hash, once you get the hang of it, naturally it is better if a friend can help you, but you can also do this on your own. It wastes less hash than other methods, and you can get some really good hits with a fairly simple and easy smoking method.
These are just a couple ways you can easily smoke hash, without wasting a ton, and the main point is to get creative. If you’re creative you’re bound to find several different great ways to smoke your hash, so you always have something new to experiment with.

actually, smoking hash out of a bowl does not waste that much hash. the writer of this post just hasn’t heard of how to do it correctly. the best way to do is to put nothing but the hash in the bowl, and its best to use a screen in the bowl. You can, however, sprinkle hash on a bowl of bud too. But the key in smoking hash in a bowl is to toast the hash, not burn it like the regular bud. the flame should never come into contact with the hash, it should be pulled very close to it by your inhale when hitting it, but don’t bring the flame into the hash. Heat it up slowly by keeping the flame at a distance, once you see the hash start to ember and cherry then take a huge hit and within a couple seconds you’ll be coughing from being so high. haha enjoy the advice, once you get the hang of it, its an efficient and super easy way to smoke hash. HAVE FUN!!
I was told a better way. But haven’t tried it yet as I am new to this and still trying to find the right strain that will help with my pain. I was told to wait till I’d tried a strain before trying it… Anyway…
I was told to put some weed in the bowl of my whip (I vaporize) and then sprinkle a little hash, then put a little more weed on top. Then vaporize as normal.
Supposedly the whip will heat up and as it vaporizes the weed, it also vaporizes the hash which is supposed to be the best way. The article above says to put in something that you then heat and smoke the vapors of, so using a vaporizer for it seems like that would be the best way.

You americans are all idiots, trying to smoke hash without tobacco in all sorts of “creative” ways. The most efficient way is to mix it with tobacco: all Europeans and people in the middle east do it. Hot knives etc. is way more wasteful.

When I smoked hash in France I found the easiest and most simple way to smoke it is by simply putting some hash in with some tobacco and rolling a joint. If you have a problem with the tobacco you can use oregano which is what many people do when smoking pure mdma or other things which are full melt. Keep in mind, it doesn’t matter whatever method you use – if you let it sit there burning you are obviously wasting it. Just don’t be all leisurely when you’re smoking the joint, you have plenty of time to relax when you’re high. Keep it moving around and you won’t waste your shit. Being French-American myself I can tell you Europe has America so beat when it comes to Hash, seriously just smoke a damn joint.

OR you could get foil and a cup,put the hash on the foil, put the cup on the foil(With hash) and get the excess foil and wrap it atound the the cup then heat up the hash from the bottom of the foil. It’s contained so just grab a straw and blaze away

Im in a different country away from home, got some hash and had no idea how to smoke it…
What im doing is taking a small chunk of hash and putting it on a small plate. than with a match i light the hash and let it catch, 2-3 seconds i cover it with a glass up ( to see through) and when smoked up i suck out smoke with a straw through a small gap i do with the cup.

europeans are so arrogant, and stinky. this is my first time smoking hash n i have no idea how to do it. my mom is an old school hippie n she told me to put it on a pin and put the pin thru the cardboard so it would stand up an then light the hash and cup it and suck smoke out. i suspect my hash was of low quality as it did not smoke too much in the cup.however, being as it is my first time, i just made a pipe out of 5/32 size socket, and a bottle, and i threw a screen, some fire, and some hash in there, and toasted the hash with my heat rod. smoked uo and embered beautiful, and i am extremely high. i also coughed a lot. for reference i used a glass jagermiester bottle, i took a wet drill bit and some drill lube, really nice piece works xecellent.
Personally, I just always throw it on top of my bowl. I got a couple nice glass ones with glass screens (jack and daisy style. I prefer jack style but my daisy ones are shitty. Maybe if I had nice ones with a hole in the middle too I’d like them more). I cut off a small lil piece of hash, put it in some cellophane off my cigarettes and flatten it out with a lighter until it’s as big as the top of my bowl (bout a postage stamp size) and then that bowl will get 4 or 5 people STONED. The thing I don’t like about the aluminum foil because around here that is how people smoke opium, and Idk, but it seems kinda dirty to me. Now, if it’s just me by myself I will use a daisy style screen (mine don’t have holes in the middle) and hold the screen with my multi-tool, heat it up nice and hot and then drop it in the bowl and drop a small bit of hash on it. I will still have to light it get it started smoking, but if you heat the screen up then when you drop the hash on it it will kinda melt and be secured in places so you ain’t sucking it down around the screen. Using this method, I will get 10-15 sessions out of a g of a hash and be pretty damn stoned every time.
To each their own, and I smoke cigarettes (hand rolled all natural tobacco though, fuck the processed chemical coated mass produced cigarettes), but I like to keep my tobacco and weed separate. Whenever I mix the two to roll up a spliff, idk, it seems to me like I’m just trying to make the weed stretch farther. Why not just smoke a couple small bowls or a big bowl, get stoned, and then have that delicious after smoke cigarette?

Ok……..get an empty juice (soda, for our American friends) bottle, the 1.5 or 2 litre size and some aluminium foil. Using a heated up star head screwdriver, not too thick, burn a hole near the bottom of the bottle, but still on the side but near the bottom as you can. Make a makeshift bowl by moulding the foil around a finger up to the first knuckle or just past the nail, as long as that finger is not wider than the bottle top. Make holes in the bottom of the bowl using a pin or badge, then make sure this fits into the top of the bottle, then take off the bowl again and crumble some hash in, not too much to start with, don’t fill up the bowl or you’ll waste some. Now, cover the hole with one finger and fill the bottle with water, as close to the top as you can, but make sure the bowl is not touching the water, put the bowl on the top of the bottle, keeping your finger on the hole. Bring a lighter/lit match to the top of the bowl and remove your finger from the bowl, the water leaves thru the hole and causes the top to suck in air, put the flame to the hash quickly until it starts to burn, once the water is nearly gone, or the hash has burned away, remove the bowl ( remember the bowl is going to be very hot ) then suck the smoke thru the top of the bottle. No waste, as long as you can hold the smoke in, so start with a little and experiment. Enjoy.
to the guy who said to smoke hash with oregano… you are a dumbass… if you smoke oregano its going to do nothing but make you cough and cough and cough some more and not to mention it will taste absolutly horrible. I’ve always just put a chunk of hash in my glass bowl, take a few rips off of it. Someone said not to let the flame hit it, I agree with him because if you just keep it close to the flame you’ll usually see it start to bubble and it’s vaporizing right there, so I hit it sorta soft and then when I start to see a small ember on the hash I will stop using the lighter and take a bigger hit. This burns the hash much more slowly (for me at least) and you get extremely high. Just exposing it to flames will waste it because it will burn up too fast.
The key is to get it in a state of combustion or right below it. This ensures that it burns at a temperature that will not destroy most of the THC.
If you’re doing it this way then a small chunk of hash (maybe 0.05 grams) will take quite some time to smoke and you will get very high, of course usually depending on the hash.
I see everyone arguing about which is the best way to smoke it. Who really cares? I’ve tried pretty much everything listed on here on what I said works the best way FOR ME. Everyone is different and every way on here will work, some better than others.
If you think this way is dumb, then don’t try it and do it whichever way you see fit.
get a small soldering iron and use it as the heating element and pull the smoke through a straw

Break half a ciggarate and add equal amount of hashish. Take the piece, paste it on a knife, heat it up until the hashish is hot and soft. Afterwards using the tobbaco crumble it up nicely. Roll a very thin long joint, squeeze the roach and smoke it away.
When smoking hashish, I noticed it’s not good to take hard puffs. Enjoy it nice and slowly.
Whatever you consume, smoking is the most smoothest way to enjoy a drug.
For all the idiots who seems to be arguing over how to smoke it, just fucking smoke it. Smoke it, Bake it, Mix it, Drink it, Eat it, Chew it. Just do it.
roll the hash in your fingers and make it thin and long, add to joint/blunt. if the hash crumbles do the same you just dont want chunks being to big.

Hm. Perhaps it’s just me, but I’d rather waste my puny tobacco burning hash. Hash and weed give you two different “highs” or “stones”. I enjoy being as high as the sky when I bake my bud, and I equally enjoy the mellow chill when I smoke my hash. In joints, or spliffs; whichever you prefer.
Oh, and can I point out if it wasn’t for the “Europeans” you ignorant American few are yapping about there wouldn’t be any United States of America. It was an Italian who named America and a Spaniard who discovered it before that. It’s said a Chinese explorer even prior to Christopher Columbus uncovering the land of opportunity. Even further back it is said the Egyptians had potential to have sailed across the Atlantic and populated America for some time..not one single “American” not any single race discovered any part of America, nor the rest of the world. The only thing any country has ever prevailed is ignorance. America however needs to embrace knowledge that stretches further than the borders between Canada, North America and South America.
