Silver Pearl is the child of a great three-way cross between Northern Lights #5, Early Pearl and a Skunk #1 backcross. As such, Silver Pearl has all of the great characteristics of each of its parents and lets you experience them in a short flowering time.

The Early Pearl parent came from the US, and was developed around the 70s. It was then added to Sensi Seeds inventory in its breeding program. Early Pearl was a fast finishing outdoor variety that was mostly Sativa and had excellent resistance to mold. Northern Lights #5 is a fundamental building block to Sensi Seed’s Cannabis Castle because it is very uniform and carries dense buds. Skunk 18.5 is simply a Skunk #1 backcross that is known to be consistent and has a high calyx-to-leaf ratio.

Silver Pearl still has the sweet and fresh taste that comes from its Early Pearl mother which is also combined with the density, low leaf count, and the quick finishing time of the Skunk #1 and Northern Lights. Silver Pearl is a short, chunky Indica plant that has dense, resin covered frosty buds, with very little foliage. It’s easy to grow and does well in greenhouses and performs great when grown indoors. You can use this marijuana strain for sea of green gardens or growing larger plants, but according to Sensi Seeds it’s easier and more efficient to use hydroponics to grow it. Silver Pearl is great at handling stress and hardly ever form dreaded hermaphrodites. It’s high is psychedelic, almost hallucinogenic and is perfect for wake and bake.

Silver Pearl has won the High Times Cannabis Cup in 1994.
