Rolling a joint with hashish is a little bit different than just using weed. Depending on the kind and quality of hash you may not want to just throw it all in a joint, or you may not be able to get it into a great rollable shape.
The most popular way you can prepare your hashish for rolling and is probably the most easiest and quickest way. Simply take your lighter and heat up your piece of hash. Don’t burn or torch it, but heat it enough to make it warm and malleable. If you burn your piece of hash you may as well kiss your piece of hash goodbye, because doing so degrades the taste and the high of some great hash so be extra careful.
Another method for preparing your hash for joint rolling is a bit more labor intensive, but is less harmful to the hash. You can pick out pieces of hash with your fingernail. I don’t prefer this method just because I don’t like stuff under my nails anyways, but some people may like it. Some hash is extremely hard, but you can warm it in your hand by working with it just to make it soft enough for you to pick out your hash fragments.
With really soft hashish some people prefer to roll it into a long thin sausage. Some people swear by this method of using hashish, saying that it makes sure there is an even distribution of hashish for the whole joint. I think sausage rolling is ok, but I prefer to do other things, because it seems like those sausages waste alot of hash.
If you have rock hard hash that simply won’t soften with the heat from your hands, you can use a razor blade to help you shave off slivers of hash. This can then be added to your smoking mix. It’s easy to do, doesn’t take too much time, keeps your finger nails clean, as well as preserves the great taste and high of the hash. The razor blade method is the best way to make an evenly distributed joint as well. If your hash is a little too soft to shave, put it in the freezer for 10 minutes and it will be hard as ever.
Make sure if you’re using high quality hashish for your joints and blunts to either mix it in with some regular marijuana buds or a smoking mix so that way you don’t waste alot of your expensive hash in one joint or blunt. High quality hash is extremely potent so you won’t need that much to get your high on.

you could always try grating your hash, handheld parmesan grater’s are quite useful. This method works with any type of hash but obviously the harder the hash the more effective this will be
