The cross joint, according to Pineapple Express is the holiest of holies, an amazing joint that everyone around you will love. It’s a little difficult to make, but it will reward you with the ability to smoke three joints at the same, you can even mix up the bud in each one to make an amazing combining high. The Pineapple Express cross joint seemed like a one time use kind of joint, the cross joint we’re going to show you how to make is essentially an empty cross shell where you stick three joints into each of the ends so that way you can use it again and again.
Making The Cross Joint
First, roll a roach (no weed inside) about the length and diameter of a thick pencil. Use papers or tape to seal it up.
Cut two large circular holes on both sides of the roach about 3cm from the end. You can use scissors or a razor blade to cut the hole, an exacto knife might work better though.
Now roll a second roach that is about half the length of the first and a little narrower.
Now cut the largest possible hole you can through the center of the second roach, in the middle of both ends.
Connect both roaches together by putting the second roach through the hole you made in the roach and rotate the second roach until the large smoke hole is lined up with the larger roach tube. If you can see through all the tube then you did good.
Seal the roaches with tape, or gummed strips from rolling papers and wrap it around the intersection to form an airtight seal between both roaches.
Now to finish your cross joint and get smoking just insert three joints into each of the ends and use the last open end to inhale. Its better if all three joints are similar in shape and size, but it doesn’t really matter.
That was easy, and took only like ten minutes, and now you have a reuseable cross joint that can be used over and over again.

A cross joint should be rolled as follows:
1. Roll A big L with a big roach, fill it all the way up to the top with Weed/hash and or tobacco.
2.Roll a ciggaret shaped joint with no roach and make a hole in the middle
3.Now make a hole all the way through the Big L at the point where the two rolling papers are glued togehter. It should be big enough to stick the cigg. shaped joint through.
4. Stick the cigg shaped joint through the Big L and secure the with gum strips.

I made that one without any internet tips! I just saw it in the movie and tried it. It went great and smokey x)
The first comment is a good explanation BUT you NEED to make a small circle-shaped cut into the centre cigarette sized (2nd) joint. It shouldn’t actually be a hole through the joint, but rather just a removal of the paper in the shape of a circle.
THEN, you NEED to insert this joint into the bigger one WITH the circle-hole facing the roach. Yes it smokes without this but you’re actually pulling a lot less.
