The ‘Rock’ in Rockstar comes from the Rockbud mother that was created by Soma A+. Rockbud is a strain that has rock hard buds that don’t let pests or mold invade. The ‘star’ in Rockstar is the result of Sensi Star, a multiple award winning marijuana strain that is a strong and potent Indica plant. Sensi Star has more of a cerebral Sativa-like stone than most Indica strains. Rockstar makes a good combo for beginner growers and gives you buds that have a high worth your time.
Rockstar was originally designed to grow optimally indoors, but can be grown well in a sunny outdoor climate. Make sure there is atleast 9 weeks of flowering before the frost sets in or you may have an early harvest. California growers report to be able to achieve a good yield of one pound per 6 foot tall plant. Rockstar performs indoors in a sea of green setup whether you use soil or hydroponics grow mediums. If you have enough space, she’ll also do great as a multi-branch plant.
Rockstar display her Indica heritage by forming large and fat leaves along with chunky and dense nuggets. Her buds are covered with shiny coats of trichomes, which make great hashish. Her flavors and taste are reminiscent of a spicy fruit, sort of like a cinnamon pear, but shouldn’t be too strong for the grow room during flowering. Around harvest time, Rockstar is covered in glistening trichome snow.
