Qleaner is a strain that was developed by TGA Subcool Seeds. Her origins stem from the Jack’s Cleaner mother. Jack’s Cleaner is a complex hybrid which started off as a combination between Plutton and Neville’s 1985 Super Sativa Seed Club’s Northern Lights #5. After breeding for stabilization Purple Haze and Jack Herer were also added to the Jack’s Cleaner. The Q in Qleaner comes from the Purple Urkel and Space Queen hybrid father.
Qleaner grows well indoors due to her short stature. She produces good yields in soil and hydroponics gardens. Topping and training your Qleaner plants will lead to greatly increased yields. By using short vegetative times, hydro grows can expect 2 ounces per plant, while in soil 5 ounces per plant is the average yield. When Qleaner is flowered at 24 inches you can expect the plant’s heigh to be a little less than 5 feet.
When growing Qleaner outdoors, you may not even recognize this strain due to the vast differences in growth. She shoots up fast and will finish around middle to late October at 42 degrees N Latitude. The longer the growing season, the larger and higher yield you’ll receive.
Qleaner gives off a musty grape smell while growing, but during flowering it appears to be much more low-key. Be careful if smell is something you that will sacrifice your garden as even lightly touching the flowering will unleash a mixture of sweet grapey marijuana odors that will travel far and linger. The buds will fill out the entire plant nicely and the plant will turn to dark purple hues as the temperature becomes cooler and closer to harvest times. The buds are also full of thousands of trichomes and are dense and become quite crunchy due to the amount of trichomes covering them.
