The Purps come from Mendocino County in Northern California. She started off as a clone-only plant that spread throughout their medical marijuana community. BC Bud Depot created a stable cross to make the Purps seeds available to the commercial market. She does well indoors or outdoors and is a good plant for the coastal British Columbia climate.
The Purps is a stinky plant that has medium leaves with green tints that change to purple towards flowering time. She is a moderate side brancher so she is good for sea of green gardens when pruned properly. If left unpruned she makes for a great multi-branch plant as well. BC Bud Depot recommends growing The Purps in high quality soil with organic fertilizers like most marijuana seed companies prefer. This is due to the fact that it enhances the flavors in just about every strain.
The Purps grows to about 3 to 4 feet indoors at harvest time. When grown outdoors she can reach about 6 to 8 feet tall. If growing space restricts you, shortening the vegetative phase will result in shorter plants, but will also lower the yield. Most crops from this strain indoors yield about 1.5 ounces to 2.5 ounces per plant. Outdoor crops can yield 4 to 5 ounces. The Purps finish in about 8 to 9 weeks, so she will finish the last half of October outdoors. She is hardy and pest resistant, but does better in gardens with grower experience.
