This strain was specially selected by East Island Seed Company for the strong flavor and calm Indica stone. Skunk varieties often smell and taste more floral like lavender, but Purple Skunk x Dutch Treat delivers a hint of citrus fruit, with an oddly upbeat and interesting high for a mostly Indica strain.
Purple Skunk x Dutch Treat does show some variation between each other, but usually grows short and bushy. She reaches at most 3 feet tall on average and exhibits beautifully dark green leaves that fill out with purple hues as harvest time comes about. The buds are dense, large and support by thick stems. They also turn purple as time comes closer to harvest. Purple Skunk x Dutch Treat can yield up to 2 ounces per plant in a sea of green garden. Multiple branching plants and hydroponics setups will typically yield less per square meter. This strain is dank so you will need some sort of odor control if you have nosy neighbors.
Purple Skunk x Dutch Treat smoke is flavorful and reminds you of a sweet wildflower. If you really taste the smoke before exhaling you’ll get hints of oranges and berries from the Dutch Treat father. Alot of people just like this strain for the taste, but it has a great and unique high as well that is quite potent. It mellows out your mind and body without zoning you out or locking you to the couch. This is a good strain that you can mix with a good wine or beer for relaxation and won’t get you too wasted as long as you don’t over indulge.
