There are many times when you just wanna kick back with your favorite pipe or bong, but only to realize before you take that first hit that your only pipe screen is missing. This happens to the best of us, and most people usually don’t have extra screens just laying around. This is where our aluminum foil screens come into play, but first a word of warning: Aluminum foil is not the best thing to use for your health, but if you use it occasionally you shouldn’t have a problem. Now that that has been said we can move on.
Making an aluminum foil screen is very easy, and once you make it, they can last a long while and can be quite effective.
First, get some aluminum foil. Got it? Good. Now take a small square of it and form it into round bowl shape so that way you can just pop it in your pipe or bong’s bowl and don’t have to worry about it getting screwed up.
Now, get a thumbtack, a needle, or even a mechanical pencil with lead in it will work. Carefully, poke several tiny holes in the aluminum foil, the more holes the better, but be careful because it can be quite easy to rip the foil then you’ll have to make a new screen.
Once you’ve poked all your holes in the aluminum foil, just place your new screen in your bong or pipe’s bowl, load it up with some marijuana and enjoy. If your pipe screen gets damaged, messed up, or just wears out after being heated up so much go get some aluminum foil and make another one. It should only take you a couple of minutes once you figure out what you’re doing.
