Pineapple Punch is Flying Dutchmen’s popular Real McCoy strain backcrossed with its Skunk parent. This marijuana hybrid exhibits two different phenotypes: a more ‘Sativa’ pattern that exhibits tall plants and thin leave, while the ‘Indica’ pattern has medium plants along with wider leaves. The vegetative phase will show you which phenotype you have. Both of them have a citrus taste along with the cerebral high of the Real McCoy mother.
Pineapple Punch grows fairly large outdoors and forms lime colored leaves covered with golden pistils. Flying Dutchmen recommends growing Pineapple punch indoors with around 12 to 16 plants per square meter if they are not pruned. If you plan on pruning the plants, make sure you only put around 6 to 9 plants per square meter. By pruning, you can spread out most of the energy to the tops of the plants to optimize flowering. Flying Dutchmen recommends that you grow this strain in soil with low to medium organic nutrients. Hydroponics works good too, but you will sacrifice the quality of the plants for yield. Stop the nutrients atleast 10 days before harvest.
Pineapple Punch has dense buds that are covered with sugary resin. This strain is good for hash production, and has a pineapple and grapefruit tasting smoke. The Sativa phenotype exhibit a sweet lavender undertone in the taste, while the Indica phenotype delivers more a grapefruit palate. Pineapple punch also has a cerebral and happy high that will make you laugh. It is a great strain for outdoor walks and a relaxing afternoon.
