Pakoh – Boombox Bowl
The ‘Boombox Bowl’ by Pakoh is yet another representative symbol for modern society put into glass form… the only difference being, this bowl is far more useful than society 
The Boombox Bowl is a symbol of a generation, from street corners to studios the Boombox has graced scenes in music videos and movies all through the 90′s and 00′s, and as such is considered by many to be an iconic representation of a generation. This wonderful glass bowl from the very talented glassblower ‘Pakoh’, is a fully worked design composed of fumed glass and is formed in the dimensions 43mm x 23mm x 45mm approximately.
The fumed glass has been worked to leave a marble-like finish which complements the midnight black styling perfectly.The intricate black linework has been sandblasted onto the bowl and portrays an ‘old school’ boombox or ghetto blaster if you will, which comes complete with 2 base box speakers, tape deck, radio tuner and bandwidth display which can all be observed on the front of the bowl.
An aerial slot and power switch can be found on the top of the piece residing just next to the bowl. All of which is encompassed in the extensive linework which encompasses the top ridge of the Boombox Bowl. It must be noted that the reverse of the bowl also features additional little stylings, namely a 2-pin power cord and the infamous ‘PaKoH’ signature which is clearly emblazoned across middle of the bowl. All key detailing has been sandblasted and etched in using coloring.The bowl sits atop of a 14.5 joint, and truly encapsulates the fusion of contemporary design with the attitude of modern day society.

Pakoh – GonG Bubbler
Pakoh is blower born and raised on Long Island, NY who has used all his experience from institutions like Pilchuck Glass School and Glass Works Park to grace us with another masterpiece, the GonG Bubbler. Using a fumed glass technique this piece stands approximately 25cm tall and is both simple and elegant. The main chamber sits atop of an a beaker shaped bottom, and is embellished with a brick wall design consisting of golds, blues and aqua greens.
As the main chamber meets the 14.5 downstem the glass can be seen to have a frosted effect while keeping the brick work theme apparent. The 14.5 joint bowl then reverts back to the original aqua green colour which sets the piece of beautifully. Additional designs on the main chamber include a ‘Hip-Hop’ rat complete with ghetto blaster, and of course the original ‘Pakoh’ signature which can be found on the reverse of the can.
The colour composition of the main chamber matches the neck of the bubbler, in which the design stretches the length of the neck from the main chamber to the worked mouthpiece. The neck however boasts some very intricate detailing showing a ‘missing brick’ effect at a few points along the neckline and there is also evidence of clearly worked bulges in the middle of the neck which match the linework done on the mouthpiece. It must be noted the main can is positioned at a 45 degree angle, which is then mirrored by the angle of the mouthpiece making it not only pretty to look at but user friendly too.

Pakoh – Robot Slide

This FYC 7 to 13 Arm Tree Percolator Glass Bong resembles a Toro Fixed Stem 7/13 Arm. There is a pull out style ice pinches slide that fits into an 18.8mm ground joint. The stemless bong has a typical Toro arm fixed at a 90 degree angle that feed into the 7 arm tree perc. Each arm on the percolator has two slits for diffusion. Smoke then rises from the bottom half of this piece into the second chamber that houses the 13 arm tree perc for a second round of smoke treatment. This second perc has a worked dome at the top of it. After feeding through this second 13 arm perc, smoke rises through the straight tube at the top, into the mouthpiece.
Pakoh finishes this piece by sandblasting some of his signature style designs all over it. The bottom half is riddled with sandblasted Pakoh style brickwork against clear glass. There is also a sandblasted car, a sandblasted ‘FYC’ logo and a small sandblasted barcode underneath the fixed stem that reads ‘Pakoh-Toro’. The pull out style bowl and ground joint are all sandblasted with effects as well. The second chamber is fully sandblasted with some clear glass floral designs around the bong. The straight tube at the top has similar sandblasted floral designs set against clear glass just below the mouthpiece.
A truly brilliant piece to hold made by two of the best, this collaboration has created one of the most aesthetically pleasing and functional bongs on the market.

Pakoh – Telephone Glass Slide
The Telephone Glass Bowl from the infamous glassblower Pakoh is the epitome of old school cool.
His new take on retro technology is truly awesome. This 1960’s telephone is composed primarily of a fumed gold and white glass which has undergone a marbling effect.
The principal designs featured are the old school rotary dialling keys as well as the concertinaed cord for the handset. There is also the notorious Pakoh signature on the reverse of the telephone which has been sandblasted in black.
This glass bowl comes complete with a small, hand blown glass handset which sits atop the bowl when not in use. The glass used on the handset is the same as that on the main telephone however the handset has undergone an oil finish giving it a myriad of colours which blend in and out of the piece.
