This colorful Option Bowl’s design was created using the reversal technique during the glass blowing process, where the color tubes are reversed inside the bowl midway through the process and vibrant sweeping swirls are created within the glass.

Option Bowl 18.8mm – ‘Snake Pit’ Party Bowl
This Option Bowl has been forged using the inside-out technique to decorate the glass from within with colorful stripy snake-like characters which curl and coil all around this bottomless pit of a bowl.
The mid-section is fumed and it features glass beads and knobbles all around the outer body, further enhancing its grand appearance and giving it a very real fantasy feel.
At over a hundred grams of pure option bowl, this is not actually an option for the littler bongs out there. And with an upper inner-bowl diameter of just shy of 40mm, it’s not for the lily-lunged either.

Option Bowl 18.8mm – Speckled Top
This option bowl is decorated with unique amber or green speckles using the inside-out technique. The effect is so good you almost expect to see mini mosquitoes encased with the amber speckles, or little coral reef fish to come swimming out from between the green ones.
Also featuring an incredible glass bead at the side of the bowl, which amazingly provides an extra grip on your bowl for when you require it to be lifted out of the downtube. Human invention at its very best. Next we’ll be making robots with lasers for eyes that take the bowls off for us.

Option Bowl 18.8mm – Raked Bowl with Beads
Delicately decorated using the ‘rake’ technique, where the color is, surprisingly, raked across the glass during the blowing process.
Three marble beads continue to demonstrate this bowl’s aesthetic charm whilst also providing several grip points to ease your lifting and/or carrying of the bowl.
The beads also distort the raked colored parts that pass through them, moving and changing their shape slightly as you turn the bowl around in your hand. A small nuance but one that amused me for an undisclosed amount of minutes. That was after testing the bowl of course.
