Nuken is a Canadian strain that was a cross between Kish and God Bud. God Bud is an infamous purple marijuana strain has a growing reputation up north due to it ease of growth and strong stone. Cash Crop Ken received it from a mysterious veteran grower with over 30 years of experience. Kish is an Indica dominant plant that was the result of a double Shishkaberry cross. That makes her a fast grower that finishes with large nugs. Kish has become well known as an Afghani that is great for making hash due to all the resin on the buds.
Nuken is an easy to grow plant that tends to grow larger than her parents. Once flowering has starts, she stretches to about double her vegetative height and will reach around 5 feet at harvest time. If you prune Nuken, you can make a good plant for sea of green gardens, though Nuken, is just as good as a multi-branch plant. She has thick branches, which shouldn’t need support. Nuken grows well indoors and will finish around 7 to 8 weeks. You can expect when growing this strain outdoors, that the harvest will be around September or early October. Like most Afghan strains, this plant should be kept away from moisture due to the tendency to mold.
Nuken has tight and dense buds that are a little less rock hard than her Kish parent. This strain doesn’t particularly smell throughout growing, but once it is smoked, it tasted almost like a marshmallow sweetness combined with a strong, skunky overtone. Nuken’s buzz lasts quite long and is strong and relaxing. It is good for a day time and evening smoke and won’t put to sleep right away.
