Mr. Nice was actually named in honor of Howard Marks who is a Welsh marijuana campaigner, one-time hashish entrepreneur and an author. He wrote his bestselling autobiography called Mr. Nice in 2002 and told his story as a marijuana smuggler until he was busted by the DEA. In 2010, his story was actually made into a movie called Mr. Nice and he continues to write advocating marijuana and legalization.

Mr. Nice’s mother is a G-13 plant, and G-13 is actually rumored to be US Government pot from a Mississippi growing facility. According to the story, a technician actually rescued a cutting from the location and brought it to Holland for cultivation. The father of Mr. Nice is a Hash Plant from Sensi Seeds, which was a cross between Hash Plant and Northern Lights.

Mr. Nice’s parents combine both of their best traits to create a strong and memorable Indica strain. Mr. Nice is a deep jade color and are short due to their all-Indica heritage. They have great resin covering the buds and are well supported with thick stems. G-13 x Hash Plant was quite a hint in the 80s, but it was only available for a limited time. Around 1999, Sensi Seeds brought this strain back from the dead to honor Howard Marks.

Mr. Nice develops a large central cola, and due to its growing habits it can grow great in a sea of green garden without creating too much crowding. This strain is tough and can handle harsh treatment from any grower. The yields are large even with small plants.

Mr. Nice has a savory Afghani taste that most Indica lovers will also love. Mr. Nice has dense bud clusters that give off a rich and sweet-spicy tanginess of resin. They also have dark and earthy undertones. Some people are even tricked into thinking their smoking a mixture of hashish and marijuana.
