Mount Cook is a great mostly Indica hybrid that was named after the highest mountain in New Zealand. Mount Cooki is 3754 meters(12,316 feet) tall and can be found among the Southern Alps. The Maori people of New Zealand know Mount Cook as Aoraki, which is one of the most beautiful sights and locations in the world.

Mount Cook’s father is a New Zealand strain that came from Mount Cook’s area, while the female mother was selected from Kiwi Seed’s best Afghan female strains. Due to her Indica heritage, Mount Cook has wide-spread leaves that have a dark green coloration and come with thick stems and strong branches. Mount Cook does well in a sea of green garden with around 15 to 20 plants per square meter. You can also use a 3 gallon pot with 18 hours of light if you want less plants.

Mount Cook is a great strain for growing indoors due to her reasonable flowering time with great yields. During the last two weeks of flowering, the buds can get quite heavy so you may need to provide support to prevent branches breaking. Kiwiseeds recommends a netting that will let the plant grow through and support it. Her buds are heavy and covered with trichomes, looking very snowy. She can yield up to 600 grams per square meter in a well-kept sea of green garden.

Mount Cook was a strain made for Indica lovers. She has a strong onset that can almost paralyze you the first couple of minutes. After that it cools down to a soothing body stone that will last for a few hours. She tastes just like some sweet hash and is a great weed to share with friends or while you’re just chilling at home.
