Master Kush was originally called High-Rise, because it was developed in one of the tall buildings in south Amsterdam. Coffee shop owners and customers fell in love with this marijuana strain quickly.
Master Kush is a vigorous plant that will thrive under most growing conditions, producing exceptionally well in indoor or greenhouse setups. Master Kush will grow into medium-sized, compact plant with forest green leaves. They have ball shaped buds that are light green with long hairs that vary in color from white to orange. The buds themselves are dense, thick, and heavy. The density of the buds causes concern for mold, but if you’re careful you will have no problems.
Master Kush is very non smelly while growing, and has a scent of a sweet citrus earthyness along with a nonexistent taste. It’s easy on the lungs to smoke, with a non-expansive and smooth smoke. Master Kush gives you a very satisfying all over the body buzz that will relax you, but won’t put you to sleep. The high is very visual for marijuana too, making it better for outdoor activities or watching a movie.
Master Kush has won the High Times Cannabis Cup two times, once in 1992, and once again in 1993.
