Mandala #1 is the perfect strain for those who want a quick growing plant with several Sativa influences. The mother plant is an African Highland Sativa that was crossed with a New Zealand Purple Indica and North Indian Sativa father. That makes Mandala #1 extremely versatile and adaptable. She will grow in just about any soil medium as well as indoors and outdoors. She does best outdoors between 35 to 38 degrees N latitude. You can get great quality buds and a great quality high from this strain in just under 9 weeks of flowering.
Mandala #1 has two phenotypes: classic Christmas tree Sativa, and the other is where the plants resemble a mostly Indica plant. The Indica phenotype grows shorter is more thick than the Sativa phenotype. It performs well in a sea of green, while both types do just fine in a screen of green and other popular plant training methods. Mandala #1 is also an easy plant to clone due to its hardiness.
Mandala #1 is great for growers who live in northern and cooler climates that need to have their outdoor plant harvested by the end of September. She has been proven to grow well in Canada, Eastern Europe and Switzerland. This strain is great for beginners due to the unique combination of genetics that makes this plant strong to abuse.
The bud structure is mostly Indica, but the high has all the Sativa influence you could want with such a fast growing strain. Mandala #1′s buds are covered with sticky resin and glisten in the light. Some plants also become purple halfway through the flowering stage due to the New Zealand father.
Mandala #1‘s high is great for all sorts of creative acts. It starts out like a dream, but then quickly moves into a motivational stage that doesn’t have any of the paranoid side effects like other strains. The bud smells like sweet apples and the purple plants also have hints of mint and raspberry. Mandala #1 is also a well recognized medical strain and helps to reduce anxiety along with depression.
