Moroccan Thuya Wood ‘Secret Key Stash Box’
This magical stash box is unlike any other. If you didn’t know how to open it before you tried then you would still be trying hours, days, even months later.
Traditionally carved from the aromatic Thuya wood, unique to the western foothills of the Atlas mountain range in the Atlantic coastal region of North Africa, where local crafts-men have been continuing their centuries old tradition of carving wooden artifacts. They use the roots of the Thuya tree to give each one of their pieces its very individual appearance.
Firstly you slide the front lip of the base and remove the false wall within the base to reveal the secret key stash compartment. This is actually quite a deep compartment and can store much more than just the key. Next you must slide the entire base section out from the main body slightly, so that the secretly movable carved lip in the center of the box can be slid down to reveal the secret lock.
And finally, access is granted. But only to the holder of the secrets of the Secret Key Stash Box.

How does it open? The Magic Box can be used to hold anything you want kept out of view. The closing mechanism works by sliding a section of the front of the box so that an unseen catch is released.
We gave a few of these to some random customers in one of our shops and no-one could figure out how to open it without being shown! The space available inside the box is: 125mm x 73mm.
