Kiwiskunk became popular in New Zealand around the 80s where it was recognized as a high yield and short flowering strain due to the fact that the majority of marijuana there was limited to outdoor guerrilla grows and only Sativa weed. The Indica plants were much more safer to grow guerrilla-style and were less easily detected by air and were able to flower and yield quickly enough that drug task forces didn’t have as much time to spot them. The prices were also higher for the Indica body stone than the popular Sativas that were more common there. Kiwi Skunk is a cross between the original NZ Skunk and some good NYC Diesel to make a great tasting Indica strain.
Kiwiskunk is short and stocky, has fat buds with large yields. She’s also good when it comes to mold resistance, making her suitable for veteran and new growers whether it is indoors or outdoors. Kiwiskunk is typically ready for harvest around 8 and a half weeks of flowering. For the sea of green garden you can expect to yield about 400 to 500 grams per square meter of quality bud. Kiwiskunk is a very consistent strain so it is good for small growers who don’t want alot of variation and care.
Kiwiskunk comes with that unique skunk smell and it’ll be just as easily detected by the neighbors. Carbon filters do wonders for this strain and treat it just about the same for NYC Diesel. Kiwiskunk has a skunky taste with a hint of citrus. It is sweet and has a light taste to the smoke.
