Sensi Seed bank is always adding new strains to their library or making improvements upon existing strains. Jack Flash #5 is no exception. This Jack Flash version is a mostly Sativa cross that is feminized and came from the original Jack Flash strain. Jack Flash #5s mother was an exceptional Jack Flash phenotype that was combined with a great Skunk and Haze hybrid that was very resilient to hermphroditing.
Jack Flash #5 is about 55% Sativa and becomes more of a poplar tree than a pine tree while flowering due to the upward angle of the branches. Unless you control those branches, they can cause your plant to be about twice as tall which would really limit your growing space. The leaves are shaped like a ‘stretched teardrop’ and are fatter like Indica leaves at the base with thin Sativa-like leaf tips. Jack Flash #5 has huge buds that have qualities of both Sativas and Indicas. They will cluster at first then move along the branches to fill in all the gaps. The colas are loaded down with resin as Jack Flash #5 matures.
Jack Flash #5 is a tough plant that can handle a large variety of growing conditions. It is recommended by Sensi Seeds as an indoor grow. This strain prefers quite a bit of nutrients and is tough against fungus and some small user error. Jack Flash #5 can be grown in a sea of green garden. Make sure you put the clones into flowering right after rooting around 4 to 5 inches in height. Though, Jack Flash #5 will do just as well as a screen of green. Most growers have to worry about controlling height, it’s not as extreme as in Haze strains though. If you do grow this strain outdoors she will do fine when grown within 40 degrees latitude of the equator, but you’re taking a little rick above 45 degrees North because she may not be finished when the first frost comes about.
Jack Flash #5 is an enjoyable and very tasty strain that has a sweet skunkiness in it, combined with an earthy and citrus flavor. Jack Flash #5 also has a great high that many will love. It starts out with a very cerebral and long lasting buzz that then turns into a full body buzz. Jack Flash #5 may not knock you on your ass but it will let you enjoy your day with any easy activities you’ve got to do.
