Paradise Seeds have outdone themselves again with their strain, Ice Cream. This strain is a combination of several different phenotypes which deliver a great smoke time and time again. The Ice Cream seedlings are all uniform at the start, but around the 4th week of flowering they go there separate ways due to stretching, flower formation and the node pattern. Every phenotype has a vigorous growth up until the day you harvest. They are also high resin producers which is great for hashish, and they all have that smooth ice-creamy taste from which it got its name from.

A few of the phenotypes seem to be more Sativa than others. These types will grow lankier with thin serrated leafs, have a trippy almost hallucinogenic high, and a high calyx-to-leaf ratio. Every Ice Cream plant will produce extreme amounts of trichomes on top of dense buds. Paradise Seeds bred Ice Cream for the resin, if you can’t tell. On average, a hash lover can expect an average of 45 grams of hash per 1000 watts of light input. Montreal loves hash so Ice Cream is a very popular strain there.

Ice Cream will finish in around 55 to 60 days when grown indoors in soil or hydroponics. She is a fast grower. She’ll finish by early October when grown outdoors. Ice Cream will double in size when put into the flowering stage after one month of vegetative growth. For better control and more yield make sure you tie down the branches or bend them.

Ice Cream is quite tolerant to heat due to her part Sativa heritage. She has a fast metabolism so be careful, because that makes her extremely sensitive to environmental changes, especially in hydroponics. She will clearly let you know she is stressed when you overfeed her, it’s too cold, etc. Make sure you don’t overfeed her and also watch out for the light distance to the plants.

Ice Cream is a carrier of sweetness. Her sweet smells will fill up a room in no time. The buds are frosty and white and smell like vanilla. She has a smooth smoke that has undertones of skunk and pine.
