Huron is a cross between Dr. Greenthumb’s flagship marijuana breed, Niagara, and the well-known White Widow, that was created with the outdoor grower in mind. It’s called Huron to honor its Canadian home, and was strategically selected with potency and an early finishing time in mind.

Huron grows well in temperate latitudes even throughout most of Canada, Europe, and the northern United States. Huron grows best in deep fertile soil which will allow it to finish by late September. Huron has great frost resistance, able to handle tough, unexpected snowfall.

Huron is a good plant for the beginning outdoor growers, but it can also be grown indoors when the other option isn’t available. Huron will adapt to most indoor gardening methods and will finish around 18 to 24 inches tall. Dr. Greenthumb recommends that you prune the plant radially then group out four branches for a multi-staked plant.

Due to its three-quarter Indica heritage, this strain has a short stature and dense, thick colas. It has good resin production making for some sticky buds. The flower structure of Huron has an overall Sativa feel to it though. It has a nice down-to-earth smell when it is growing and drying. The taste is just as earthy but is combined with some sweet tones as well.

Huron has a great medical marijuana following, with patients saying that it is perfect for pain relief and has a long-lasting, consistent, relaxing high that will ease your pain and mind.
