Heavy Duty Fruity is known for its stoneyness, its yield and its flavor. This strain is almost a 50/50 cross between Sativa and Indica. Its parentage came from the West Coast marijuana scene which combined California’s sweet strains with a father plant that comes from the damp Northwest regions. Medicine Man brought this strain to T.H. Seeds to add to their seed library.
Heavy Duty Fruity performs well when grown outdoors or indoors, but seems to do the best with hydroponics growing. Be sure to control the odor of Heavy Duty Fruity or else you’re entire grow area and much more will smell like a dank fruityness. Provide enough EC nutrients if you’re growing in hydro and you can expect your buds to swell up and become huge in size. Outdoor plants produce large yields as well and will be ready for harvest around the later half of October.
Heavy Duty Fruity does good as a multiple top plant which allows for more bud sites to flourish. The leaves are usually varied in shape and size and some of them change color from green to purple.
Heavy Duty Fruity has a strong fruit odor that can cut through any bad smell and will fill your room up so make sure you take the proper precautions. You can have a stronger or more relaxing stone depending on when you harvest your Heavy Duty Fruity plant. Earlier harvests, around 50-60 days, will give you a very trippy couchlock stone, while harvesting after a full nine weeks will give you a mellower and more sleepier stone. Heavy Duty Fruity will definitely give you the munchies so this strain is great for curing appetite loss.
