Hawaiian Sativa has the instincts of a canopy dwelling plant by seeking to outgrow all the surrounding vegetation, which in Hawaii is a lot of vegetation. It took almost 30 years of breeding to stabilize this Hawaiian Sativa strain. It is known as ‘Banana Hawaiian pot’ due to its thick, curved buds resembling bananas. The buds of Hawaiian Sativa has very long, wispy hairs, and elongated calyxes that give this strain more than the usual number of trichomes per square centimeter. AKA this plant is full of resin.
Hawaiian Sativa is lime green in color and is a straight growing plant that has minimal side branching. That makes this strain perfect for a sea of green garden when the height is kept to a reasonable amount. Stake it to poles and pack them tightly in a small space, and make sure you tie a string around the outside of the plants to hold them together.
The high of Hawaiian Sativa is a very active and functional high that will keep you awake. It’s good for a day when you don’t have to work and just want to relax. It also has analgesic properties making it appropriate for medical marijuana users that are looking for pain relief. It is also good for glaucoma patients, due to its ability to provie good visual ocular release.
You can’t have so many goods without any cons, and that cons is that it takes a full 84 days to mature when grown outdoors and shouldn’t be harvest until early November unless you’re in a rainy climate. When this strain is grown outside of the tropics, the yield from an outdoor grow is greatly diminished.
