1 Pound Butter
Saucepan
Few ounces of marijuana (depends on what strength you want it, two ounces for normal, six ounces for super baked cannabutter)
Strainer

Cannabutter Cooking Directions

  1. Melt your one pound of butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add your ounces finely shredded mairjuana.
  3. Stir and simmer the mixture until your cannabutter turns green like marijuana.
  4. Pour your butter into a strainer, and use a spoon to mash the leftover leaves into the bottom corner of the pan and use your spoon to squish out as much butter as possible. If you add some heat to the leafy mash it will help the cannabutter flow out better.
  5. To free your butter of leafs and weed pieces completely you can strain it through a piece of muslin or layers of cheesecloth. Though, it will discard lots of active THC butter by absorption so be prepared for the consequences.
  6. Keep your leafy material for later use, it can be mixed in with beverages to make a high drink as well as used with alcohol to make marijuana vodka.
  7. Pour your cannabutter into a jar and put the lid on it and store it in your refrigerator or freezer. It will last for very long in the fridge if you pour water over it, make sure their both chilled to prevent butter from floating to the top.

This is a very simple recipe for some extremely effective cannabutter and anyone with a saucepan can do it. Just make sure the heat isn’t up too high, simmer, strain and you’re pretty much done. Could you let me know why U prefer this method over coking it over a slow cooker and or double boiler for 3 to 23 hours. Would greatly appreciate your thoughts. I live in chronic pain with extensive nerve damage to my spine/ And honestly using Ganga Butter helps me cope.

  2. I need some pain relief myself major motor cycle accident …..have never made butter,but i am going to give it a shot. Brownies r the only way i can sleep….even with all the meds,the nerve damage is pretty exstensive. so gonna tryu your way and see what happens…Thank you
