The Dutch Mother used for this hybrid is 80% Indica. It’s a strong strain that has solid sticky buds, an a sweet orange taste. The Northern Lights father is also just as potent and relaxing. Northern Lights is loved by breeders all around the world for its fast finishing time and plant stability. Dutch Treat x Northern Lights is appealing to Indica fans and pragmatic gardeners. This strain does well even in the rainy coasts of British Columbia. There it will finish flowering in only 7 weeks and still be quite productive and strong as it usually is.
Once Dutch Treat x Northern Lights has her roots in the ground you can expect growth to be rapid from there. Her leaves are thin and will usually turn purple during flowering. She also has bendy branches that might need to be tied up due to the weight of the heavy buds she’ll produce. This strain is also good for growing multi-branch plants, making for a good yield with many, large, resin-covered buds.
Dutch Treat x Northern Lights combines two great mostly Indica strains to produce a strong, but alert Indica high. Many people find out the hard way that this is a creeper stone, and will come on slowly, but once it hits you, you can still remain functional as long as there is no critical thinking required. If you over indulge, don’t be surprised to find yourself locked to the couch. Dutch Treat x Northern Lights has a fruity citrus flavor that resembles the mother strain.
