Dutch Dragon was bred by Paradise Seeds in 1994 in East Holland when they crossed a stabilized Skunk/Durban hybrid female with a California Indica father. Dutch Dragon is a tall Sativa plant that has large yields and long, sticky colas. The smell of Dutch Dragon is fruity and sweet, just like the taste. The buzz from this marijuana strain is a long lasting high that will increase your taste for music and entertainment.
Dutch Dragon grows best in warm climates, where it grows into tall Sativa plant with smaller fan-shaped leaves. You can start flowering Dutch Dragon early in a sea of green setup, due to the plants quick-growing nature that has a typical Sativa growth pattern. If you’re worried about plant height in your grow room, your best bet is to flower early for minimal stretching. Make sure the pH is kept under 6 for best growing results.
Dutch Dragon may be a quick grower initially, but it will still take 9-10 weeks to fully develop large, mature flowers. When it is grown outside, mid-October is the preferable time to harvest this strain, which can grow as tall as 9 feet. When grown in a sea of green Dutch Dragon can stretch to almost 3 feet.
