Ducksfoot was named for the shape of its leaves. They have unique webbing between the leaflets which resemble the feet of a duck rather than marijuana leaves.

In Australia, Ducksfoot is grown outdoors only due to its affinity for the warmer climate without an early frost. When growing in the Northern hemisphere outdoors in temperate regions the quality and quantity were not the same, but this strain shows good growth in temperate regions so it is worth a try.

Ducksfoot grows large and needs a large soil plot to spread its roots to support the branches. Wally Duck prefers to grow Ducksfoot in a sea of green garden for better stealth and a larger yield. Ducksfoot takes alot of food and keeps on eating, it can take up to almost double the amount than most other strains.

Ducksfoot’s leaves tend to spread out as it flowers and can reach up to the size of dinner plates. Wally Duck recommends pruning the plant leaving 4 to 6 branches and then bending them horizontally to maximize yield while minimizing height. If you don’t prune this strain, it will branch extensively. The buds exhibit beautiful pink pistils as they mature and ripen. You can expect atleast 200 grams per plant when grown outdoors.

This strain has a strong smell that can be detected several feet away from the plant. It isn’t as recognizable as other marijuana strains like Skunk, but can foil a grow and any attempts at stealth. The strong smell is about the same as the taste, which is a unique spicy coffee flavor that stays on the tongue for a bit accompanied with a cinnamon aftertaste. The high is very euphoric and will put a smile on anyone’s face. Ducksfoot is the perfect daytime smoking strain that will keep you active while feeling good.
