Double Dutch is the combination of a pre-2000 Chronic female plant and a Warlock male plant which are both popular Dutch varieties. The Warlock is Magus Genetics’ strain that it was founded on and known for is a branchy marijuana plant that also has a good scent. Chronic was originally developed by Serious Seeds in the 1990s and forms large, massive colas. Double Dutch exhibits most of its Indica characteristics in the vegetative phase exhibiting its fat leaves, thick stems and a bushy growth pattern. During the flowering stage, however, Double Dutch shows its Sativa qualities by producing large Sativa-ish buds that look like lengthy popcorn balls.
Double Dutch is made for growing indoors and does well in all sorts of growing mediums. Hydroponics is recommended if all you care about is the yield. If you’re going to let this plant grow out make sure you stake it, because the heavy weight of the flowers will weaken the plant. In a sea of green the growth pattern of Double Dutch seems to shorten.
Double Dutch has a fruity wildflower taste and smell that everyone will appreciate and love. Its high is strong and moves from the head to the body making you lazy, but not sleepy. Double Dutch’s buzz lasts around 2 to 4 hours depending on the smoker’s tolerance level.
