TGA Subcool has been able to develop a Sativa-dominant strain that combines three super marijuana strains from their gardens. Apollo 13, a well-known favorite of TGA Subcool, has been crossed with the best Jack The Ripper male they could find. Jack The Ripper by itself is a combination between Space Queen and Jack’s Cleaner weed strains from the TGA Subcool seed library. This hybrid, just like it’s name, is a new dimension in marijuana breeder and TGA Subcool’s strains.
The Third Dimension grows fast indoors, finishing in a little shorter than 8 weeks. Like most strains, this weed strain does best when grown in organic soil and will form wide branches. Trim her good to increase yield and promote multiple buds at the top of the plant. If left untrimmed she will form the typical evergreen Christmas tree shape. Her stems are strong and she doesn’t require too much plant food and can do just fine without it.
The Third Dimension displays two different phenotypes. One is uniquely more Sativa while the other is more Indica. The Sativa phenotype isn’t as common and extends the flowering time by about 2 weeks, but she will reach over 5 feet tall. The high is also greatly effected, leaving those who are patient enough with a soaring and trippy high that is worth the extra two weeks of grow time. The more common Indica phenotype is perfect for a screen of green due to the short height. The Indica phenotype will finish in just over 7 weeks, pretty quick for any strain. She is also great for cloning and has a high success rate when cloned properly.
The Third Dimension forms loads of resin as she continues flowering. The resin actually spreads to the fan leaves and you can get great bubble hash from those leaves. As harvest time nears, the plants will turn into fall shades and the buds harden up, typically appearing pointy. The cured buds are a light green shade with long orange hairs, and are quite sticky with resin.
The Third Dimension has a strong odor that smells like sour fruit, similar to grapefruit. When the buds dry the smell does tone down a bit and mellows out. She tastes like tropical fruits and reminds you of mango, coconut, pineapple and even some lemon. If you convert smaller frosty resin leaves to bubble hash, they will completely melt when lighting it. The Third Dimension has a great high that can add fun to any boring and slow-going day. If used carefully, she can be a great daytime high, but due to the enjoyable effects of the high and the taste, it is easy to smoke way too much.
