Danky Doodle was originally named Double D due to the large Dolly Parton sized buds, but KC Brains decided that the name could be too easily confused with Double Dutch so he renamed it Danky Doodle to stay within the ‘Double D’ theme. He came up with the name when some American friends suggested it, because that was what they called really good marijuana in school in California.
Danky Doodle grows into the classic marijuana Christmas-tree shape with one large cola on the central branch. As flowering goes on the smell becomes dank, deep and strong, and the leaves turn super dark. When grown outdoors, Danky Doodle plants will reach tall heights. They will begin to flower around the middle of July and ready for harvest in the first few weeks of September. This mostly Indica strain has a short 7 to 8 week growth cycle. KC Brains recommends when growing indoors to plant 9 plants per square meter. Homegrowers growing for personal satisfaction will notice that only 4 to 5 plants will be needed to keep them in supply.
