Chocolope is a continuation of DNA Genetic’s Cannalope strain. DNA Genetic’s goal is to create many different tasty, short-flowering Sativa strains as well as reviving old school features from Thai plants. Cannalope is a Sativa plant that was backcrossed for a quick finish and a melon flavor. They then crossed Cannalope with a tasty Chocolate Thai female to make for an even faster finish. Chocolope still has the quick finish of Cannalope, but adds the great flavors and special effects of the OG Chocolate Thai. Chocolope is a perfect mixture of the chocolate tone that was common in old school weed and the fruity sweetness of the Cannalope strain.
Chocolope is an almost 100% Sativa strain that branches out significantly and will take over your growing space if you let it. Give Chocolope some space to spread out her branches, she does exceptionally well outdoors where she has the space to grow to her fullest potential. Indoors, Chocolope does well in with all different kinds of growing mediums.
DNA Genetics usually vegetates Chocolope for about 3 to 4 weeks then forces flowering. They prefer large plants with fewer numbers. Feed this girl well as she will eat pretty much any nutrients you give her. DNA Genetics recommends using organic nutrients for the best quality, though. DNA Genetics gets around 100 grams per plant with larger plants and organic nutrients. To avoid the 3 to 4 wait period, you can plant around 20 to 25 plants in a sea of green style garden to get around 400-600 grams persquare meter. Chocolope is much easier to grow than her Chocolate Thai mother.
Just like the classic Chocolate Thai plants, Chocolope still retains the most important qualities of the Thai lineage. It has a chocolatey smokey flavor along with a euphoric, dreamy high that drastically shifts your mentality. Chocolope is perfect for getting rid of the shakes, nervousness, anxiety and a lack of appettie. Smokers who often find themselves paranoid after smoking some strong strains should be careful with this strain as that might be exactly what you get.
