If you’re looking for more natural smoking experience than what your glass blown bongs or metal pipes have to offer, try making a cantaloupe bong. By using all-natural materials you are guaranteed to be one with mother nature as you take huge rips from this cantaloupe water bong.
What You Need For A Cantaloupe Bong
- A cantaloupe
- Toothpicks
- Knife
- Icepick, chopstick or similar pointy tool
Making Your Cantaloupe Bong
- Put your cantaloupe on its side and cut off the one-third of the cantaloupe, just above the dimple, in one smooth cut, leaving the cut side of the cantaloupe intact. Set it to the side you will use it in a minute.
- Scoop out the cantaloupe seeds and discard them.
- On one side of the cantaloupe, close to the dimple, use a knife and carve a small cone shaped bowl just below the rim.
- Using an icepick, or a chopstick, poke a hole through the bottom of the bowl to inside the center of the cantaloupe, and angle the hole closer towards the bottom of the cavity.
- Take your knife and cut two holes around 1/2 inches in diameter in the cantaloupe lid. One closer towards the bowl for the carb, and one towards the back of the cantaloupe lid for the mouthpiece.
- Fill up with water to just below the level of the bowl and put the lid back on. Use toothpicks to hold the lid in place.
A very simple cantaloupe bong that will get you baked. It only takes about 5 minutes to make and uses mostly all natural ingredients, this bong is great to make when you have a cantaloupe handy, and don’t want to take the time to fashion a more permanent pipe or bong.
