The mother of California Indica was chosen from original true-breeding Afghani lines that came from Sensi Seeds. Home was selected as the mother after many years of selective breeding. Home resembles California Sweet Orange bud, but the flowers aren’t quite as dense. Sensi Seeds hybridized the two heavy Indica parents to produce the sweet, pungent heavy buds of California Indica.
California Indica has much less foliage than most Sensi Seed varieties. It has a nice open flower structure that helps with mold resistance. The buds from California Indica turn orange when drying. California Indica has a pleasant, body relaxing buzz with a mellowing effect, that won’t have you locked to your couch after the first toke. The aroma of California Indica is sweet, and very strong. This is the least green strain and most orange strain that Sensi Seeds has to offer.
California Indica’s yields are optimized with the shortest time in a hydroponics garden setup. It can also be grown in the sea of green style, but the best yields are acquired when allowed to develop multiple branches. Light and space are also important when considering the largest yields possible for this strain as well, and can change the yield by up to 125 grams per m2. California Indica can be grown well outdoor in dry Mediterranean type climates. Even when grown indoors, keep your room a little dry to avoid molding with this marijuana strain. Despite the dry downside, California Indica is a tolerant and versatile plant that will perform well under many different conditions.
