The original Burmese Kush is dark green Sativa-Indica hybrid that came from Burma and has a quick finishing time. It was then bred with an old school California strain, OG Kush, from TH Seeds. Burmese Kush is almost half Sativa, but still shows mostly Indica characteristics by exhibiting hardly any branching and staying small. It’s small growth and minimal branching makes it perfect for growing in a sea of green garden.
TH Seeds feeds their Burmese Kush with organic bio dynamic food from Botanicare, but this strain does well with all fertilizers. When growing this strain outdoors it can take a little while for it to start. TH Seeds says you should pre-flower Burmese Kush for the best results outdoors. Once this plant gets settled it’s growth takes off like a rocket, allowing it to finish in around 7 to 8 weeks. The quick finishing time of this strain makes it one of TH Seeds fastest finishing strains.
Burmese Kush will get to about a foot tall during a typical vegetative time and will triple its growth to about three feet towards the end of flowering. It will yield around an ounce each in a sea of green, 2 ounces in 1-gallon containers, and 125 grams per plant in 5-gallon containers.
Burmese Kush grows from the top to the bottom. It will start to have some lower branching towards the end of maturation. The buds produced from this strain are tight, dense, and covered with small dense trichomes. At around two weeks of flowerings the buds really begin to develop and grow producing resiny nuggets. Burmese Kush does best in warm conditions, and is susceptible to mold and mildew in overly humid and wet growing environments.
Burmese Kush’s buzz is definitely a creeper, but is calm and doesn’t feel a hammer pounding on your head. It gives a mellow high that doesn’t freak you out or cause anxiety. A pine smell and taste is definitely noticeable in Burmese Kush which has a sweet lingering taste that is left on your tongue. This strain lets you relax and enjoy your surroundings. Due to the high from Burmese Kush, this strain is perfect for medical pain relief and enhancing your appetite.
