Blue Grape #1 is a hybrid that is mostly Indica with Indica growth qualities, but a Sativa-like high. Electric Seed Company created this strain by crossing a very bushy and tough Grapefruit female plant with a Blueberry male plant that was specifically chosen for its vigor and hardiness. The parent strains were developed in the Pacific Northwest area of North America. They both gained reputation for their unique highs and fruity flavors. Their offspring, Blue Grape #1 appeals to everyone that wants an awake, activate Sativa high with great flavors.
Blue Grape #1 is easy to garden due to its fairly short flowering time, which is only two months whether it is indoors or outdoors. Blue Grape #1 prefers to grow multiple budding sites, which makes it better for a multi-branch plant instead of SOG. Towards the end of flowering you may need to tie the larger side branches to support the big buds and keep them growing without damaging the plant. It has wide leaves that are dark and purple-blue on most on plants. Blue Grape #1 has lots of glossy resin covering the majority of plant, which makes some great finger hash.
Blue Grape #1 has a smooth smoke with mild lung expansion that contains a full blueberry flavor with a hint of grapefruit. It gives you an energizing high that makes it great for daytime activities. Blue Grape #1 is a good medicinal candidate for pain relief while still being able to remain functional and get things done.
