Big Bang is strong growing mostly Indica marijuana strain that grows great in 5-gallon containers or in an SOG or SCROG growing method. It grows fast, taking mostly all the feeding you can give it. If you’re not careful the smelly buds it produces will test your air filters and your neighbor’s nose.
Big Bang grows best with hydroponics, like many plants, but it does good in soil too. When allowed to grow large you will need to prune the foliage and branches to let more airflow and light to reach the inner and lower branches because of its short internode length. Big Bang’s buds are small and round and covered with thick short hairs. The leaves of Big Bang are bright green, but her resin has a gray tinge to it and her leaflets tend to overlap. When first starting out with this plant us a medium-low pH, around 5.6 in hydro and 5.8 in soil. Then slowly increase it until it reaches 6.5 by harvest time. Depending on the growing system your EC levels will be higher or lower. EC levels should be 2.0 in hydroponics systems or 1.8 in soil. Be sure to flush the plant before harvest or else you’ll ruin the taste of he buds. Big Bang when grown in 5 gallon containers will be about 4 to 5 feet tall at harvest if you let it vegetate for at least 2 weeks. Smaller container plants will reach about 2 to 3 feet. When you let Big Bang grow to its full potential without limiting the root development it can reach over 7 feet high.
