This strain was named Betazoid due to the fact that it helped a friend kick a hard drug habit, which is always a good thing. Betazoid has an alert, cerebral high that is typical of a Sativa plant. This strain has characteristics which are beneficial to medical marijuana users, especially those trying to alleviate pain and maintain a positive frame of mind.
Betazoid was created over three years of breeding by selecting the best marijuana plants in a home growing setup. It was then selectively bred after the first generation of Betazoid was grown out and thoroughly tested. The high, yield, nug density, and the smoothness of the smokes were the traits that the second selection of this strain were based off of and selectively chosen for. Betazoid has strong stems, bushy foliage, and tight, dense, large buds that have a mildly fruity scent. It has a deep hashish flavor.
Betazoid grows best indoors, and does better in soil rather than hydroponics. Usually, Betazoid increases in size by about 90% from the size at which the flowering cycle was started. It can be grown outdoors, but only in a temperate climate, finishing in late September.
