BC Sweet God is a combination between BC Bud Depot’s God Bud and Sweet Tooth. This hybrid resulted in a honey and grapefruit flavored Indica marijuana strain that is very similar to its mother, BC God Bud. Unlike BC God Bud, BC Sweet God has a quick finishing time, finishing in around 6 to 7 weeks. The short finishing time makes it perfect if you started late in the outdoor growing season, or if you live in a more colder climate like British Columbia, and the Pacific Northwest, the quick finish will let you have a great plant by the time the first autumn frost comes in.
BC Bud Depot prefers to grow BC Sweet God in soil growing setups. The soil helps bring out the honey in Sweet God’s great taste, but it will do just fine when grown in hydro. The hydroponics setup will result in slightly faded flavor, but allows for greater yields and quite possibly a short flowering time for BC Sweet God. BC Sweet God is a great strain for beginners because it can take a beating and keep on growing. It’s a very resilient and forgiving strain that takes a medium nutrient load and is also very resistant to pests.
Be careful if you’re trying to grow this strain stealthily, because the odor of Sweet God is dank and strong. As your plants finish up and mature their green foliage will turn purple. Due to its mainly Indica heritage, BC Sweet God is a short, stocky plant that will reach only a maximum of 4 feet when grown indoors. You can grow this strain successfully in a sea of green with a little trimming due to its minimal side branching. A sea of green garden of BC Sweet God can yield around 2.5 to 3.5 ounces per plant.
BC Sweet God was named for both of her parents. It does a great job of combining the best and most noticeable qualities of each parent into a great hybrid strain. Sweet God has the lush undertones of God Bud, combining citrus and pine with the unique honey taste of Sweet Tooth. BC Sweet Tooth also adds a shorter flowering time and more robustness to the BC Sweet God strain. The buzz of this marijuana strain is calm, relaxing and very much a body buzz. It is a bit of a creeper that will have you surprised once it finally hits you as you’re most likely going to be locked to your couch in a state of relaxation. It is a good strain for lounging and calm sociable events with little physical activity and some munchies on hand. For medicinal users, BC Sweet God is a good strain for a nightcap and relieving the intense pain of arthritis and other pain conditions.
