Atomic Northern Lights’ history spans continents across the world. In the 1980s, Afghani Indica seeds were brought over to the Northwest US. Those Afghani Indica seeds were then crossed with a Thai Haze and stabilized indoors due to the rainy, inhospitable weather. After a short while of growing in the Northwest US, this marijuana strain was then brought to Holland to be developed by Sensi Seeds as a notorious, award-winning Northern Lights strain. Dr. Atomic then brought the three-time Cannabis Cup winner back to Canada, which rehybridized Atomic Northern Lights will distant relatives of strains that were never brought overseas to Holland. By reuniting these distant relatives, Dr. Atomic created a new, vigorous strain that added even more reputation to the Northern Lights name.

Just like its Indica heritage, Atomic Northern Lights makes a short, stocky plant with a quick flowering time. The buzz is a balanced mind-body high with an overall uplifting effect. This stain has a sweet pungent flavor and a smooth smoke that can be enjoyed by anybody.

Atomic Northern Lights has the typical evergreen tree shape and is not too branchy, so it works well as a pole plant for sea of green gardening. Dr. Atomic recommends growing in soil, but Atomic Northern Lights is a hardy plant that gives great results with most growers.
