Ambrosia is the name for the food of the gods in Greek and Roman mythology. Ambrosia doesn’t take this name lightly, providing the perfect bud for the gods and marijuana connoseurs. Its smoke is worthy of Ambrosia’s definition: ‘something sweetly please in taste or smell’. Ambrosia’s Burmese mother plant was voted #1 People’s Choice in the 2002 Cannabis Culture Toker’s Bowl, and came from the Mighty Mite Seed Company. The father, God Bud, is mostly an Indica plant that has become quite popular due to its strong, amazing aroma, and a flavor that reminds you of the tropics.

Ambrosia can grow well indoors with the sea of green growing method using either soil or hydroponics. When growing outdoors, Ambrosia performs best in places that have long days during the summer. It has characteristics from both Indica and Sativa sides of its parents in growth. This marijuana strain will be medium in height, foliage and coloration. It grows fast and will blossom into a bush if there is room for it, even though it tends to not be so leafy. When using an average amount of fertilizer and a good garden home, Ambrosia will produce dense, sticky, buds that remind you of skunk, with decent yields. During flowering Ambrosia’s leaves begin to yellow and the hairs turn into a strong orange color that will let you know it is ready.

The smoke of Ambrosia is sweet and complex. It has just enough skunk flavor to keep it from being really exotic. The buzz is trippy, awake, and an up high that will come on fast like other Sativas, but will leave you functional for most of the time.
